The Benefit of Learning Literature to Educational Value

As we knew that literature divide into two different groups, they are

1.      Informative literature

The function of informative literature is to teach. Here we talk about everything that fact or real happen, not imagine such as Los Angels is the largest city in the west, the sun is burning gas, we breathe with oxygen and soon. The main purpose of informative literature is to other knowledge.

2.      Imaginative literature

The function of imaginative literature is to move, it means to lead the feeling from flat feeling and bring to the emotional feeling such as the novel, poem, poetry and soon.

 In general “the benefit of learning literature to educational value” are:

-          To improve the writing skills. We didn't perfect our writing skills in grade school or high school. We learn to speak by listening and imitating; we learn to write by reading and imitating.

-          To learn to use the language well. In order to do this, we must immerse ourselves in it, especially as foreign language (English).Can understand when speaking, simply speaking the language is insufficient for continued improvement. Literature, however, presents at infinite variety of ideas, words and expressions.

-          To improve the reading comprehension. We improve by reading and analyzing what we read.

-          To expand the vocabularies. New words are tools for understanding new ideas.
